The world of science communication is a like a big lovely utopia of beautiful people all eager to help each other out. I think. So here’s a list of other stuff what’s like the stuff what we does:

Schrodinger’s Kitten: Science. Cats. What more do you need to know? One thing I wouldn’t mind knowing is how you get the umlaut on the O on my keyboard. Anyway, Schrodinger’s Kitten writes a blog here. It’s about sciencey stuff and it’s very funny.

LabLit: LabLit.com is dedicated to real laboratory culture and to the portrayal and perceptions of that culture – science, scientists and labs – in fiction, the media and across popular culture. The site is intended for non-scientists as well as scientists, and the goal is to inform, entertain and surprise. Go here to find it.

Bright Club: Academics doing stand-up? Who wouldn’t find that amusing? They started in London, but now there are Bright Clubs all around the country. Learn more about it here, and specifically the Edinburgh one (that I’ve done!) here.

Egg and Sperm Race: I (Gemma) am a co-founder of this along with Vicky Young. That’s only part of the reason I’ve included it here though. The main reason is that it’s good science communication about a sensitive subject (*snigger*). Check it out here.

More stuff to be added as we think of it…
